Authorities in Taiwan and Thailand are now working together on a kidnapping and murder case.
A Taiwanese businessman abducted last week was found dead on Sunday. The main suspect in the case is the man’s driver. It has been confirmed that the suspect fled to Thailand using a relative’s passport.
Taiwan’s Bureau of Investigation said on Tuesday that it is in contact with the police in Thailand and Vietnam. Taiwan’s representative office in Thailand also said the two countries are working together under an agreement on crime fighting cooperation.
