Taiwanese horse rider competes in France
Ken Sun

Taiwanese equestrian competitor Ken Sun has participated in the World Equestrian Games 2014 in Caen, France.

The 24-year-old Sun took up horse-riding in 2005 as a part of therapy for cerebral palsy. He has been enrolling in international equestrian competitions ever since. He currently ranks 159th in the world listings. Sun said that as a cerebral palsy patient, it was difficult for him to find a suitable sport until he tried horse-riding. Sun is working with a 13-year-old mare from Germany called “Miss Finland”.

Taiwan's representative to France, Michel Lu, made a trip to the venue to show his support for Sun. The World Equestrian Games are held every four years in the middle of the Olympic and Paralympic cycle.
