The World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report 2014-2015 has placed Taiwan 14th on its list of this year’s most competitive economies. That’s a drop of two places from last year.
The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual report on global competitiveness calculates competitiveness using data from the UN and other international organizations. Rankings are also based on WEF surveys of top business executives.
Switzerland continued to hold the top spot in the WEF competitiveness rankings, followed by Singapore in second place. Meanwhile, the United States edged up two places from last year to finish in third place.
