Taiwan-born Canadian fashion designer Jason Wu has wowed the New York Fashion Week.
31-year-old Wu launched an elegant collection called “Beauty” inspired by British actress Charlotte Rampling at the New York Fashion Week. His spring-summer 2015 collection shows clean lines and gentle, sophisticated colors such as navy, dark green, and limestone.
Wu also announced on Friday that he sold over half of the shares in his business to New York-based investor InterLuxe.
Wu shot to fame in 2009 when he created a white gown for US First Lady Michelle Obama. In 2013 Mrs. Obama again chose Wu’s design for the inauguration of her husband’s second term.
