The 14th conference on economic cooperation between Taiwan and Germany opened in Berlin on Wednesday. The conference is organized by Taiwan’s Chinese National Association of Industry and Commerce and Germany’s Taiwan Committee of German Business.
Both organizers said that they have seen strong cooperation between the two countries over more than 10 years. The outgoing chairmen of both organizations, Theodore Huang and Michael Fuchs, said they hope the two sides will continue to push for more exchanges to further strengthen economic relations between Taiwan and Germany.
Meanwhile, Taiwan’s deputy economic minister Shen Jong-chin has said that cooperation between small and medium enterprises will bring about greater development in trade relations between the two countries.
