Shares in Taiwan closed lower on Tuesday with the electronics sector in focus as investors here took hints from heavy losses on the tech-heavy NASDAQ index overnight.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange ended down 84.06 points, or 0.91 percent, at the day's low of 9,133.40.
