Taiwan has placed 55th on the latest Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, a survey measuring the overall “well-being” of countries around the world.
The results of the latest survey were released Wednesday. Respondents came from 135 countries. The survey covered five areas of well-being: sense of purpose, social relationships, personal finance, sense of community, and physical health.
Taiwanese respondents reported feeling especially satisfied with their financial wellbeing, with 45% reporting healthy finances. However, only 16% of Taiwanese respondents felt satisfied with their physical health.
Topping the latest survey results were Panama, Costa Rica, and Denmark.
