Shares in Taiwan continued to rise Thursday as the U.S. central bank announced that it will keep its low interest rates even after the end of its program of buying up bonds.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange closed up 41.86 points, or 0.45 percent, at 9,237.03.
