Taiwan is not going to welcome banned agricultural products from China and the US. That’s the word from Council of Agriculture Minister Chen Bao-ji. Chen was answering questions at the legislature on Wednesday.
Chen said that Taiwan will not open its markets up to 830 banned agricultural products from China or US pork products containing the feed additive ractopamine.
Lawmakers questioned the agriculture minister on these issues because Taiwan is working towards regional economic integration and trade agreements with China.
