Shares in Taiwan closed lower Thursday. Losses were limited as select high-tech stocks, in particular local suppliers to Apple Inc., built on their momentum from the previous session.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange ended down 15.07 points, or almost two tenth of one percent, at 8,975.19.
