Asian equities reversed losses to end higher on Friday ahead of US jobs report, with Hong Kong markets in focus as protests entered their eighth day. Trading volumes were light with South Korean, Shanghai, and Indian markets shut.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange closed up 131.09 points, or 1.46 percent, at 9,106.28.
