Asian equities were mixed on Monday in holiday-thinned trade following a better-than-expected US jobs report last week.
Markets in China, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Indonesia were closed for a public holiday.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange ended down 11.14 points, or 0.12%, at 9,095.14.
