Legislature President Wang Jin-pyng, has pledged that the legislature will speed up the review of bills that will benefit the people.
Wang made the remarks in his address on Friday, in his capacity as chairman of the National Day celebration ceremony.
Wang said the people of Taiwanare kind, energetic, and creative. He also detailed the important bills that the legislature passed over the past year, including tax reform bills and a convention that protects children’s rights.
As for the economy, Taiwan’s export orders have increased for seven months in a row. He said that as long as people are united and work hard, the Taiwanese economy will see stable growth and reach new heights.
