Thailand’s biggest English-language newspaper has promoted tourism to Taiwan.
Thursday’s edition of the Bangkok Post recommended that readers visit Taipei’s National Palace Museum, the old streets of Danshui, the Martyrs’ Shrine and the Miniatures Museum of Taiwan. The article especially recommended the National Palace Museum for its array of treasures and thousands of ancient cultural relics. It said that the museum is a sightseeing spot that no one should miss.
The article started with a headline saying that "Taiwan is different from Mainland China". It said that if people want to experience a place with smaller crowds and less air pollution, then Taiwan would be the right choice. At the same time, the article said that Taiwan has a rich Chinese heritage that will provide an unforgettable experience for travelers.
