Taiwanese tennis star Hsieh Su-wei and her Chinese partner Peng Shuai have managed to enter the doubles final match of the BNP Paribas WTA Finals. That’s after they defeated Alla Kudryavtseva of Russia and Anastasia Rodionova of Australia 6-1, 6-4 in the semifinal in Singapore Saturday.
The next game will be Hsieh and Peng's last time playing together before their planned split. The pair announced in August their decision to end their partnership next season.
The No. 2-seeded duo has been playing together since 2009 and has seen a string of successes. They won the women's doubles titles at the 2013 Wimbledon, the 2013 WTA Tour Championships and the 2014 French Open, and both were ranked No. 1 in June this year.
