Taiwan wins 18 golds, 5 silvers, and 4 bronzes at Culinary World Cup

Chefs and culinary students from Taiwan have grabbed a combined 18 gold medals, five silvers, and four bronzes at the Villeroy and Boch Culinary World Cup 2014 held in Luxembourg.

According to a statement released by Taiwan’s representative office in Belgium, two of the gold medals were for dishes that earned full marks.

The event, held once every four years, took place from November 22-26. It brought together over 2,000 competitors from more than 50 countries.
