Although the cold weather has eased a bit in Taiwan, meteorologists said Sunday that another cold front is set to arrive this coming Friday.
The Central Weather Bureau says the front will travel from north to south, bringing low temperatures in the northern half of the island down to about 13 or 14 degrees Celsius, or possibly even 12 degrees in some areas. That’s in the low 50s, Fahrenheit.
As for precipitation, weather forecasters say that people in northern and northeastern Taiwan, as well as those in mountainous areas of central and southern Taiwan can expect occasional rain.
