Shares in Taiwan closed down Wednesday amid lingering concerns over further volatility on Wall Street as selling focused on large-cap electronics stocks.
Taiwan shares closed down 51.57 points, or 0.55 percent, at 9,180.23 Wednesday on turnover of NT$91.997 billion (US$2.89 billion).
