One of Taiwan’s biggest pop stars – Jay Chou – got married in a lavish ceremony in England on Saturday afternoon. Unlike most weddings in Taiwan, Chou’s marriage to Taiwanese-Australian model and acress Hannah Quinlivan took place in a church.
The wedding, at Selby Abbey, included an exchange of vows and rings. But instead of playing the Wedding March, the ceremony featured a song that Chou wrote specially for the occasion, performed by a string ensemble.
As for wedding attire, the couple opted for a classic hand-crafted European gown and suit, complete with crowns, prompting comparisons to a royal wedding.
