An Irish travel show host has chosen Taiwan as one of her top five destinations in 2015.
According to an Irish Independent article on Wednesday, Ciara Whelan, the host for the Irish travel program, The Holiday Show, said Taiwan is an amazing place. Whelan said she loves the food, the people, and the whole vibe of the place…it feels like Ireland in the 1980s. The travel show host said that people in Taiwan are more traditional and don't see a huge amount of white tourists, so you really feel like you're very welcome; the world is getting smaller and smaller but in Taiwan you still feel that little bit removed.
Other destinations on Whelan’s list are South Africa and three Irish towns: Westmeath, Cork, and Kilkenny.
