Premier Su Tseng-Chang says that Taiwan will not tolerate those that seek to undermine its free and democratic society. This comes after an attack on Hong Kong singer and activist Denise Ho on Sunday, where two men poured red paint on Ho. Su has expressed his anger at the incident and says that there is no place for violence or illegal activity in Taiwan.
Su says that the two men who attacked Ho during her interview with reporters on Sunday had priors. Su said that he wants the public to know that those who abuse their freedom in Taiwan to plot against the country’s democracy will not be tolerated.
