OPTO Taiwan, a series of optoelectronics exhibitions, kicked off on Wednesday at Taipei’s Nangang Exhibition Center.
The exhibit showcases the latest products from industries connected to the field of optoelectronics. These include smart car photonics, opto semiconductors, and precision optics and image sensing equipment.
This year’s exhibition has a large section that features products used for solar power generation, including solar panels and cells. This is in line with the government’s goal of increasing renewable energy output and phasing out nuclear power by 2025.
OPTO Taiwan is scheduled to run through Friday, October 18.
