Taiwanese tennis player Hsieh Su-wei and her Czech partner Barbora Strycova have reached the semifinal round of the Women’s Tennis Association finals.
Hsieh and Strycova beat Czechs Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova, winners of two Grand Slam titles in 2018, in a super tiebreaker.
During an interview, Hsieh said the match was a tough one , and thanked her fans for cheering her on.
Hsieh’s partner, Strycova, is currently the world’s top-ranked women’s doubles player, while Hsieh herself is ranked fourth.
