Taiwan’s baseball team held an official practice session at the Tokyo Dome on Thursday in order to get used to the arena ahead of future games.
The practice session comes just days after the team’s win over South Korea in the Premier 12 baseball tournament. The win has kept the team in the running for a spot at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
The Tokyo Dome is to be the site of the remaining games in the tournament. Taiwan is scheduled to face off against the United States on Friday and Australia on Saturday. The team will need to finish with a better win record than South Korea and Australia in order to quality for next year’s Olympic Games.
