Taroko National Park has launched a new promotional video to showcase its natural wonders.
An eagle soars across the sky, floating above a range of mountains. This is Taroko National Park, a slice of eastern Taiwan home to a rich and diverse ecology. There a large number of plant species, including rare mushrooms and flowers. The area is also home to many wild bird and animal species. Among these species are some that have been brought back from the brink of extinction by local conservationists. Of course, these mountains are also the traditional territory of indigenous Taiwanese people.
All of this appears in the latest promotional video put out by the park. The park’s management office has commissioned a renowned documentary filmmaker to produce the film in order to showcase the park’s scenery and the rich world of its inhabitants. The office says it hopes the video ill raise public awareness of how important it is to keep the natural environment free from pollution.
