A three-day event giving children hands-on experience and a chance to explore kicked off on Friday at the Expo Park in Taipei.
The 2019 Maker Party is an opportunity for children to create on their own, to gain knowledge through games, and to test their courage in trying new things. For example, children can enter an experiment lab belonging Taiwan’s state-owned gas company to learn about energy. Or they can make their own mini-model of an electric-powered oil drilling well.
The event is in its fifth year and has been positively received by parents and children alike.
