Taiwan’s National Chengchi University has held the first Taiwan-ASEAN Higher Education Forum.
Around seventy dignitaries and experts attended the event. In addition to representatives of National Chengchi University, invited guests from four Southeast Asian universities also took part.
The focus of the event was on coming up with a united strategy for the development of Asian Studies. The event also saw discussion about innovation and development in higher education in a globalized world.
Attendees shared their experience with cooperation in the higher education field within the Asia-Pacific region. They also shared views on how to develop innovative courses, conduct exchanges of students and professors, and build a shared program of study.
