An advanced pharmaceutical research lab has been unveiled at the National Biotechnology Research Park in Taipei City’s Nangang District.
Officials announced on Tuesday that the Value-Added MedChem Innovation Center (VMIC) has been integrated into the national research park. The VMIC will focus on cutting-edge molecular research and collaborate with pharmaceutical companies.
The lab’s integration is considered by many as an important move that will boost the national research park’s output and advance Taiwan’s pharmaceutical industry.
