Vote counting has begun across Taiwan as voting in the 2020 election winds down.
Only those who were in line at their designated polling place before the 4:00 pm cut-off time may still cast their ballots.
Voters were given three ballots each this election- one for president and two for different kinds of legislative seats. The Central Election Commission has said that presidential ballots will be the first to be counted. The commission has also said that vote counting is expected to finish at 10:00 pm Saturday.
