The foreign ministry has announced that Taiwan and North Macedonia have agreed to extend a mutual visa-waiver program. The agreement takes effect on April 1, and will remain in effect until March 31, 2025, effectively extending the current program by five years.
Under the agreement, Taiwanese passport-holders can enter North Macedonia for a maximum of 90-days in a 180-day period.
The foreign ministry says that both sides have updated relevant websites to reflect the extension of the agreement. The ministry says it hopes the visa-waiver program’s extension will improve ties between both sides.
