The education ministry is calling on students and teachers to take advantage of online learning platforms during the extended winter break.
The ministry announced on Monday that the start of winter semester for all elementary and high schools will be delayed for two weeks in an effort to minimize the spread of the coronavirus outbreak.
At a press conference on Wednesday, ministry officials said that students and teachers can continue to hold study sessions via online teaching platforms. The officials said these platforms allow student to access learning materials for all subjects at all levels.
The officials also said that teachers can sign up on the platforms to hold learning and Q&A sessions for students in need.
