Health experts from Taiwan’s top National Taiwan University offer advice to help schools minimize the chance of spreading the virus.
All schools in Taiwan are implementing health procedures to minimize the chance of COVID-19 spreading. These include measuring the students’ body temperatures and sanitizing their hands and shoes before they enter school.
Experts from National Taiwan University College of Public Health have offered other measures to prevent the spread of viruses. One method is having students take breaks at different times to minimize the interaction between large groups.
The experts also advised schools to open up classroom windows every 20 minutes to improve airflow. They said it takes only one minute to completely refresh the air inside a classroom and this can reduce the chance of students coming into contact with the virus.
