Taiwan’s top National Taiwan University (NTU) ranks eighth among universities in emerging economies. That’s according to the latest list published by Times Higher Education, a London-based magazine that focuses on education.
The magazine published the 2020 Emerging Economies University Ranking on Tuesday. The list includes 530 universities from 47 emerging economies around the world.
A total of 32 Taiwanese universities made the list. Notable rankings include NTU, which comes in at number 8. Taipei Medical University and National Tsing Hua University are the other two that rank among the top 30.
Seven Chinese universities rank among the top ten, the Moscow State University ranked fourth and the University of Cape Town in South Africa was tenth.
