Taiwan on Wednesday reported one more confirmed case of the novel coronavirus known as COVID-19. That brings the total number of confirmed cases in Taiwan to 23 since the outbreak began.
Health Minister Chen Shih-chung said that the latest case is the 60-year-old younger sister of the 19th confirmed case who has died. The 19th case was a 61-year-old hired driver who became the first person in the country to die from the infection.
All the other confirmed cases in Taiwan are currently in stable condition and two have already recovered and returned home.
