Taiwan announces 32nd COVID-19 infection
The Central Epidemic Command Center has announced its 32nd confirmed infection of COVID-19.

Taiwan has announced its 32nd confirmed infection of the new coronavirus COVID-19.

Health authorities said on Wednesday that the individual is a migrant worker who was infected while caring for a patient with the virus for six days in the hospital in mid-February.

Health authorities have already identified people who may have come in contact with case number 32, and will begin testing them for the virus.

Meanwhile, the Central Epidemic Command Center has raised its travel advisory for Iran from level 1 to level 2. That means travelers to Iran should stay on alert and take precautions.

Authorities raised the travel advisory for Iran as the outbreak of COVID-19 continues to spread rapidly through that country. As of Wednesday, Iran has 95 confirmed infections, including 15 deaths. That’s the highest number of fatalities after China.
