VIDEO: Students boost COVID-19 prevention skills and their English
Kids learn to say

Schools around Taiwan are finding creative ways to teach students how to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak. One school in Taipei is taking the opportunity to boost not only the student’s prevention skills but also their English.

The first thing students do when they arrive at school these days is… wash their hands. The children know why that’s important. One child says that if you touch something dirty with your hands, you don’t want to touch your face because then you could get sick. This is one thing the schools teach the students in order to keep them safe from COVID-19.

One school in Taipei is also taking the opportunity to teach the kids some English. A teacher dresses up as a doctor and uses English to teach the children how to properly wash their hands. Now instead of just learning to say “how are you?” they’re also learning to say“wash my hands”.
