Taiwan has reported two more infections of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, raising the total number of cases to 47.

The Central Epidemic Command Center Tuesday categorized one case as a “household infection.” The case involves a man in his 20s who has no history of recent travel to another country. However, he is the family member of a patient who had tested positive for the virus. The man had contracted the disease while caring for the patient in the hospital, and he tested negative the first two times. He tested positive the third time on Tuesday.

Another case involves a man in his 30s who visited the Netherlands last week on a business trip for three days. He was confirmed with the coronavirus Tuesday after developing a fever and a cough. Health authorities said the chances of him getting infected outside Taiwan are high.
