The chair of the Financial Supervisory Commission, Wellington Koo, has detailed plans to move the commission’s administrative offices amid the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.

At the legislature on Wednesday, Koo said that the Banking Bureau will move from its original location in New Taipei to the Joint Credit Information Center in Taipei. Meanwhile, the Insurance Bureau will move to the offices of the Taiwan Insurance Guarantee Fund, and the Security and Futures Bureau will move into the FSC headquarters.

Koo said that the move will give staff bigger work spaces and more isolated offices. He also said all computer and internet systems at the new locations have been tested and are ready to go.
