Taiwan to quarantine arrivals from 42 more countries
Taiwan has announced that the 14-day quarantine requirements will cover people arriving from 42 more countries and one area

Taiwan has announced that the 14-day quarantine requirements will cover people arriving from 42 more countries and one area. That’s to help keep the new coronavirus outside the nation’s borders.

These countries include 13 in Eastern Europe, 15 countries and one area in the Middle East, five countries in North Africa, and nine countries in Central Asia. Taiwan has raised the travel alert for all of these countries to Level 3, warning against all unnecessary travel.

The 43 new additions include (in alphabetical order): Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, Georgia, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Mongolia, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Yemen.

That’s in addition to the following countries and areas which are already listed as a Level 3 (in alphabetical order): Austria, Belgium, China (including Hong Kong and Macau), Czech Republic, Denmark, Dubai (including transit passengers), Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.
