The fight against COVID-19 is continuing in Taiwan. In an effort to show support for medical staff on the front line, a bento box shop in Kaohsiung has donated 999 lunch boxes to local hospital staff.

Workers are busy putting food into lunch boxes. They then seal up the boxes and disinfect the transport vehicles.

These are the employees of a bento box store in Kaohsiung. They have prepared 999 bento boxes for medical staff who are handling the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. The workers said they’ve made sure to pack a variety of food in the lunches so that the hospital staff can enjoy a nutritious meal.

The bento boxes are delivered to local hospitals on three separate days. Doctors and nurses from the Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital have collectively expressed gratitude to the workers.
