Taiwan has confirmed 18 additional cases of COVID-19.
The government’s Central Epidemic Command Center announced the new cases on Saturday. The center says that all of the 18 cases are imported. Between them, the 18 new patients had been in Turkey, the US, France, the UK, Egypt, the Czech Republic, South Africa, and Indonesia during the past few days or weeks.
These new COVID-19 cases bring the total number Taiwan has reported since the start of the outbreak up to 153. As of Saturday, 28 patients have made a full recovery, while two have died.
