Taiwan confirmed 15 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. The new cases bring Taiwan’s total since the COVID-19 pandemic began up to 267.
Health Minister Chen Shih-chung says that all 15 of the new cases are imported. Most of the new patients had recently been in the US or the UK, either for work or study.
So far, Taiwan has confirmed 227 imported cases of COVID-19 and 40 cases of domestic origin. In total, there have been two deaths, while 30 people have fully recovered and have been released from quarantine.
