Health authorities in Taiwan have announced that there were no new reported cases of COVID-19 in the country on Tuesday. That’s after Taiwan recorded two new cases, one imported and one from the Panshih navy ship, on Monday. Taiwan has not recorded any local transmission of COVID-19 since April 12.
The announcement means that the total number of cases Taiwan has recorded so far stands at 438, with 347 of those being imported cases. There are 55 domestic cases and 36 from the Panshih navy ship. So far Taiwan has recorded six deaths from COVID-19, but a further 334 patients have fully recovered and been released from quarantine.
