China Airlines is planning to increase international flights in July. That’s after suspending flights on many routes in March, due to the pandemic.
One of the target cities is London. China Airlines will hold a trial run of passenger flights from Taipei to London every Friday, and London to Taipei every Saturday, from July 3-31. August flights will be adjusted according to global conditions.
Beginning in July, China Airlines will also increase flights to cities in Asia, including Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Penang. It will also increase flights to cities in the US and Europe, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and Frankfurt.
As for the food served on planes, China Airlines will begin offering some hot meals again on Tuesday. They had been serving boxed meals due to pandemic precautions. The airline says it hopes to resume regular meal services soon.
