COVID-19: Scotland lists Taiwan as low-risk country
Beginning July 10, Taiwanese travelers entering Scotland through England will not be kept in quarantine for 14 days.

Scotland has listed Taiwan as a low-risk country for contracting COVID-19. That’s after England did the same last Friday.

The Scottish Government has published a list of low-risk countries and territories, based on the number of COVID-19 cases and public health evaluations in each place.

Included on the list are countries and territories that have a lower rate of infection per capita than Scotland’s own 28 confirmed infections per 100,000 people.

Beginning July 10, Taiwanese travelers entering Scotland through England will not be kept in quarantine for 14 days. The foreign ministry says this move is another indication of Taiwan’s successful efforts to keep COVID-19 at bay.
