The Legislature has announced measures it plans to put in place for an upcoming visit by a Czech delegation.
The 90-person delegation will be led by the President of the Czech Senate, Miloš Vystrčil. Due to concerns about COVID-19, the Legislature says that members of the visiting delegation will follow a set path during their visit and will be given designated restrooms to use. Social distancing measures will also be in place, including during interviews with the media.
In addition, parts of the itinerary involving close contact, such as a planned group photo, are to be finished as quickly as possible. All leftover water and all restrooms used during the visit will also be disinfected, and all workers at the event will be told to monitor their health over the following fourteen days.
The Legislature says these measures are designed to ensure the visiting delegation receives a courteous welcome, while at the same time minimizing the risks of COVID-19 transmission.
