Taiwan’s universities have performed well in the 2021 edition of the annual Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
The 2021 rankings were made public on Wednesday. They are the most expansive so far, comparing over 1,500 universities in 93 countries and territories.
In total, 38 universities from around Taiwan made the list. Particularly noteworthy was the performance of National Taiwan University, which moved up to 97th place, becoming the first Taiwanese school to make it into the survey’s top 100 schools.
