The 2020 Penghu Bay International Light Festival won a gold award at the MUSE Creative Awards, International Advertising Awards (IAA).
The MUSE awards are an international competition for creative professionals. This year there were nearly 5000 entries from 57 countries entering the contest. In the Art Event category, there were four platinum winners, 7 gold winners and 7 silver.
The Penghu light festival is an ocean art exhibition that uses light as a medium to highlight the local landscape, culture, and ocean life. The theme of this year’s festival is Island Paradise. Its main installation is an 8-meter high mermaid. The festival also features a 10,000 square meter water dance show and many beautiful light art works.
The Penghu Bay International Light Festival began on September 12 and runs through November 14.
