Taiwan’s total COVID-19 case count so far hit 590 on Thursday, as the country reported five new imported cases.
All five of the new patients are Indonesian workers who arrived in Taiwan on October 28 and 29. Four have not shown any symptoms of COVID-19, while the fifth developed a low-grade fever between October 29 and November 11.
The five workers were tested for COVID-19 over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday, with test results for all five coming back positive on Thursday. All five are now are being kept in isolation.
