Health Minister: No risk of COVID-19 contagion after quarantine
Health Minister Chen Shih-chung says that people who test positive for COVID-19 after completing a 14 day quarantine period are no longer contagious.

Health Minister Chen Shih-chung says that people who test positive for COVID-19 after completing a 14 day quarantine period are no longer contagious.

Chen was responding Wednesday to reports of people who had tested negative for COVID-19 on arrival in Taiwan suddenly testing positive after being allowed to come out of quarantine.

Currently, migrant workers are being retested for COVID-19 after quarantine, but Chen said it is still not certain whether all foreign nationals will need to be retested once their quarantine period is over.
